Director – Business Unit

A business unit normally consist of 6-8 developers handling 2-3 project simultaneously.

As a Business Unit Manager you are responsible for the performance of this unit.
You should be able to manage the full IT project lifecycle from definition and bid, through contract negotiations with customers and subcontractors and through setting up a functional project organization efficient management of the business relationship to the customers.

You are the single point of contact to the customer assuring that customer requirements are met. You are responsible for customer account management and the management of the delivery capacity of your unit. You are responsible for the organization of your unit and the distribution of tasks among team members. As a BUM you are responsible for UNIT sales and budget.

In order to feel comfortable in this position you are an experienced IT professional. You are outgoing and good with people. You know how to inspire you coworkers and create an interesting and motivating working environment.

Senior Software Architect

Vergic builds 80 % of software from components. A software architect leads the design of new software components. These software components are designed to meet industry level performance and customization capacities. They shall be designed for reuse and utilize common design patterns. Often they will be build from a number of subcomponent to solve a general business problem for a group of customers or a market area.

As a senior software architect you will lead the design and build projects for these components.

You will meet customer representative to discuss how to use software component to solve their business problems. You must be fluent in software design specification and able to communicate your ideas and solutions to a development team.

In order to feel comfortable in this position you should be an experienced IT professional. You like to meet people and you are experienced in communication. You know how to illustrate software to NON it professionals and customers.

You are able to define projects to develop a software component and to calculate expected time efforts for the development of the component. You should be able to create good working conditions for development teams. And participate in the management of the teams.
